A Journey Starting with Purpose

Maxsys International Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Because the best solutions aren't about the latest software or fanciest hardware.
They're about people helping people, one community at a time.

Meet Maryanne Chiriboga

Maryanne Chiriboga, Founder of Maxsys International Inc.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, cancer survivor, missionary, and accomplished business owner, Maryanne brings years of global experience to Maxsys International Inc. Her journey from programming in COBOL using punch cards to launching community technology solutions shapes our mission to bridge the digital divide.

Guided by faith, resilience, and a commitment to service, Maryanne founded Maxsys to deliver technology solutions that are compassionate, practical, and rooted in community needs. Her vision ensures that every project we undertake serves real people in real situations.

The Mission

At Maxsys.org, we believe that every community deserves access to skilled, trustworthy technology support. Maxsys International bridges the gap between community organizations and skilled local IT professionals, creating technology ecosystems that strengthen communities from within.

We are a movement focused on building community-centered technology ecosystems. Our goal is to connect local organizations with trusted, verified IT professionals (people we call Tech Stewards) who live and work within the same communities they serve.

Our Vision for the Future

Within three years, we aim to establish over one hundred active Tech Hubs nationwide, each employing local professionals who support hundreds of small organizations and families. Each hub will stand as proof that the right combination of skill, purpose, and human connection can rebuild the digital backbone of communities everywhere.

Our Commitment to Communities

Trust & Transparency

Every Tech Steward is verified and committed to ethical, honest service that builds lasting community relationships.

Community First

Local talent serving local needs, keeping resources and relationships strong within the community.

Service Over Profit

We're a nonprofit focused on impact, not revenue. Technology that truly serves people and communities.

Integrity & Ethics

Every interaction is guided by honesty, respect, and a commitment to doing what's right for the community.

Innovation Through Service

We advance technology through collaborative research, mentorship, and continuous learning across generations.

Security & Protection

We prioritize cybersecurity education and responsible e-waste disposal to protect communities and data.

Serving Communities Through Technology

Maxsys is built on three essential commitments that ensure technology serves communities effectively and ethically.

Community IT Support

Local Tech Stewards provide ongoing technology support to nonprofits, churches, and small businesses. By keeping support local, costs are reduced by up to 40% while building trusted, long-term relationships.

What This Means:

  • Affordable, reliable technical support
  • Trusted local professionals who understand your community
  • Long-term partnership approach, not one-time fixes
  • Technology solutions designed for your specific needs
  • Local economic impact—every dollar stays in your community

See an Example:

A local food bank was quoted $25,000 for inventory management software. Their Maxsys Tech Steward developed a custom solution for $8,000, with ongoing support included. The $17,000 saved went directly to feeding more families.

Cybersecurity & E-Waste Protection

We advocate for cybersecurity awareness and responsible e-waste recycling. Every discarded device with unprotected data poses risks—our network ensures secure data wiping and responsible disposal.

What This Includes:

  • Secure data wiping services for all disposed devices
  • Cybersecurity education and training for staff
  • Responsible e-waste recycling partnerships
  • Community safety protection through proper data handling
  • Regular security assessments and updates

Why This Matters:

A single improperly disposed computer can contain thousands of personal records. Our Tech Stewards ensure that when organizations upgrade, all data is securely wiped and devices are recycled responsibly.

Technology & Talent Development

We engage volunteers, students, and retired professionals in collaborative innovation. Through research and development, we encourage learning, mentorship, and continuous improvement across generations.

How We Do This:

  • Cross-generational mentorship programs
  • Collaborative research projects with local universities
  • Skills development programs for emerging professionals
  • Innovation through service-learning opportunities
  • Knowledge sharing across our Tech Steward network

In Practice:

Retired IT professionals mentor computer science students on real community projects. Students gain experience, veterans stay engaged, and communities benefit from cutting-edge solutions.
