MaxSys International Inc. is seeking skilled Independent Contract Community Tech Specialists to address the high demand for IT expertise among our community partners. This is a flexible, project-based 1099 role where you will scope, plan, and execute technical solutions (networking, cloud services, system migrations, etc.) for non-profits. The ideal candidate is a self-managing professional with strong client service skills and a commitment to utilizing technology for social good.
Requirements
1. 2+ years of professional experience in IT support, consulting, or systems administration. 2. Proven expertise in at least one key area (e.g., Office 365, network administration, simple web development, cybersecurity). 3. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) or equivalent practical experience. 4. Excellent ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical staff. 5. Must carry liability insurance and maintain independent contractor status.
